Moving
On...
Welcome to my website! I am very excited about launching
this new and-let's face it-inevitable way to gather and share
a lot of important aspects of my activities and work, including
music and CDs, articles and writings, and biographical and contact
information. I believe that 2003 promises to be a truly wonderful
year for me, filled with all sorts of adventure: a new recording
project, exotic travels, and change, change, change. Check back
to this "news" page for announcements of upcoming events, announcements
and updates on my steadily improving tennis game!

Upcoming Appearances
First off the mark in 2003 will be recitals
at two historic landmark sites, featuring music from my CD of
hymns and gospel pearls Just
As I Am.
The first will be on Sunday, January
19, 2003 at 3:00 pm at
St. Mark's Church-in-the-Bowery This is a free concert,
and St. Mark's features the most glorious acoustics in NYC outside
of Carnegie Hall. I absolutely love singing at St. Mark's, where
my voice feels 10 feet tall!
Next, on Sunday, February 9, 2003 at
3:00 pm, I'll be presented in concert at The
Riverside Church as part of their Christ Chapel Series.
The lovely Christ Chapel is a feast for the eyes, ears and the
soul, and is even more ecumenical than you might guess: in 2002,
Christ Chapel hosted Icelandic pop sensation Bjork in concert.
Admission is free, and there will be a free will offering.
Both concerts will feature the elegant and soulful accompaniment
of Fred Alston on piano. |
